WHAT IS SCOUTLAND ADVENTURE CAMP?

Spend 4 days and 3 nights at Scoutland on Lake Lanier, near Gainesville, GA. Days are packed with fun and nights are spent under the stars.

Your meals will be served in the air-conditioned camp dining hall and you will bunk in a two-person tent with another Scout or your parent.

Hot showers and flush toilets are available in the Camp shower house. There are separate facilities for men, women, and boys.

We offer six sessions of camp during the month of July.

The camp maintains a full-time health facility and provides a certified aquatics instructor, trained shooting sports

personnel, as well as a full-time qualified staff .

CUBS who will be in either 2nd or 3rd grade in the fall of 2013, can swim, hike, earn belt loops, learn handicrafts, and much more. What a great time for a boy and his parent to spend together in the great outdoors this summer! Parents will accompany Scouts to all activities.

WEBELOS who will be in either 4th or 5th grade in the fall of 2013, will receive a special introduction to Boy Scout camping. They will be able to work on Webelos Activity Badges and Belt Loops, cook, swim, canoe, learn handicrafts, and participate in archery and BB shooting. Webelos will also have the opportunity to cook at least one meal over a campfire (food and equipment will be supplied).

WHO CAN COME TO SCOUTLAND ADVENTURE CAMP?

Any registered Cub Scout can attend Scoutland Adventure Camp this summer.

• In order to provide the Scoutland Adventure Camp program to as many Scouts as possible, there are no facilities or programs at camp for siblings regardless of age.

• Scoutland Adventure Camp is open to all registered boys, regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin.

• Handicapped facilities and special diet considerations are available upon request. Please notify the Scoutland Adventure Camp Director in writing at P.O. Box 399, Jefferson, GA 30549 by June 13th.

WHEN IS SCOUTLAND ADVENTURE CAMP?

SIX sessions will be off ered this year! A session lasts 4 days and 3 nights. Sessions 1,3, and 5 operate from 2 p.m. on Sunday until 9 a.m. on Wednesday. Sessions 2, 4, and 6 operate from 2 p.m. on Wednesday until 9 a.m. on Saturday.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GO TO SCOUTLAND ADVENTURE CAMP?

Youth Fees: $80.00 per Scout if paid on or before June 6, 2013, $95.00 per Scout if paid after June 6, 2013

Leader /Parent Fees: $55.00 per Leader/Parent if paid on or before June 6, 2013, $65.00 per Leader/Parent if paid after June 6, 2013

Your fee includes the Official Scoutland Adventure Camp T-shirt and Patch. Shirts are guaranteed with early registration ONLY. (Payments received after June 6th ARE NOT guaranteed a T-shirt.) This fee covers meals, program supplies, etc. Our Camps operate rain or shine. Camp fees are transferable but not refundable. All requests to transfer fees must be made in writing to the Scoutland Adventure Camp Director, P O Box 399, Jeff erson, GA 30549. No refunds due to weather conditions.

You may pay by Check (make payable to Northeast Georgia Council, BSA), Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Full payment is due with registration.
